Opening ceremony of the photo exhibition "Mirrored Reflections 2" held in Tehran
Opening ceremony of the photo exhibition "Mirrored Reflections 2", as a part of the 15th edition of the Fajr Festival of Visual Arts, was held at the Tehran Museum of Contemporary Arts on Tuesday, February 6, with the presence of Mohammad-Mehdi Esmaili, Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Mahmoud Salari, Deputy Minister of Culture for Artistic Affairs, Abdolreza Sohrabi, Director General of the Visual Arts Center, Asghar Amirnia, Director General of the Performance Management Office, Seyed Abbas Mirhashmi, Secretary General of the 15th edition of the Fajr Festival of Visual Arts, Ebadreza Eslami Koulaei, Director of the Tehran Museum of Contemporary Art, Mahtab Sahel, representative of the ECO Cultural Institute (ECOCI), children and wife of Ghorban Khalili, the photographer of the Islamic Revolution of Iran, a group of artists and art enthusiasts.
During the event, Mohammad-Mehdi Esmaili, Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Seyed Abbas Mirhashmi, Secretary General of the 15th edition of the Fajr Festival of Visual Arts, Mojtaba Kouchaki, Managing Director of Sacred Defense and Revolution Photographers Association, and Ebadreza Eslami Koulaei, Director of the Tehran Museum of Contemporary Art, delivered speeches. In the end, Koulaei admired the presence of the Iranian Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance and the visitors to the exhibition.
In the photo exhibition, 48 photographs by the late Ghorban Khalili along with a copy of the original are exhibited in large and small sizes. The "Mirrored Reflections 2" exhibition will be open to the public until April 20, 2023.
