From 5 to 7 June 2023 in Tashkent Uzbekistan, UNESCO organizes a regional seminar on the topic: "Combating illicit trafficking in cultural property in Central Asia and Afghanistan: training to build the capacity of law enforcement and judicial authorities". This seminar brings together law enforcement and judicial officials from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Iran, Pakistan, as well as Afghan participants living in Europe, in order to share their knowledge and skills in the field of combating illegal circulation of cultural property.
