"A Review of Avicenna's Life and Works" at ECO Cultural Institute
The "A Review of Avicenna's Life and Works" roundtable was held at ECO Cultural Institute (ECI).
According to the ECO Cultural Institute, the Ibn Sina Foundation of Uzbekistan in cooperation with the Ibn Sina Foundation of Iran held a roundtable, "A Review of Avicenna's Life and Works", on Sunday, July 16, 2023, at ECO Cultural Institute, accompanied by lectures of scholars from the two countries. 
At the start of the roundtable, Mr. Murodjon Buriboev, the president of ECO Cultural Institute, after welcoming the guests, emphasized the importance of holding such meetings and pointed out the position of the great Ibn Sina, a prominent thinker and philosopher, in the world.
The president of ECI added, "The valuable services of Shaik-al-Rais (Avicenna) are not hidden from the United Nations, Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization, UNESCO, moreover, this organization created the special "Avicenna Prize for Ethics in Science" award, presenting it every year to the best scholars in the field."
Mr. Bahadur Abdullahi, the ambassador of Uzbekistan in Tehran, mentioned the official visit of the presidents of the two countries this year and the strengthening of the relations between the two countries. The Ambassador of Uzbekistan added, "Our great ancestors are our common history and have left an important role in the development of scientific and cultural relations, and Bu Ali (Avicenna) is one of them. In addition, he is undoubtedly considered the greatest scientist of the Islamic world and has created great works in all fields of science, which we should be familiar with."
In addition, Mr. Ghiyassuddin Tah Mohammadi, the head of Bu Ali Foundation in Hamadan and Mr. Nazim Khan Mahmudov, the head of Ibn Sina Public Foundation of Uzbekistan, along with Kamaluddin Shamsuddin, Elham Janbek Mirzayev, Fakhruddin Ebrahimov, Najaf Qoli Habibi, Inshallah Rahmati, Mohammad Javad Esmaili, Arman Zargaran and Hamed Arzaei, the scholars of the two countries, delivered their lectures on the works of Avicenna, their characteristics and their translations.
At the end of the roundtable, gifts and certificates were presented to the speakers and guests.
