A group of young people in Takhar province established a library under the name of (Shaygan) in Talaqan city, the center of this province, in Afghanistan, with the aim of promoting the culture of reading. Seyed Iqbal Siret, one of the founders of this library, told the media that he established this library after buying and collecting 1,500 books. Mr. Siret says that in the future, in addition to promoting the culture of reading, they plan to hold artistic and cultural story reading and essay writing programs in this place as well.
