Iran's National Badminton team won six gold, four silver and two bronze medals and ended its representation in the Central Asian competitions with the championship title.
Iran NOC; Tehran: The Central Asian Badminton Championships started in Dushanbe, the capital of Tajikistan, and the Iran's national teams, who entered the competition as the defending champions, became the champions of Asia once again. The teams of Iran, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan participated in this tournament. the next Asian Summit be held in Tehran, at the same time as the Fajr International Badminton Tournament.
