Also, the series of Maulana Jalaluddin Rumi, which is broadcast on the TRT digital platform, had its world premiere at SFF.
In this festival, more than 230 films from 70 countries of the world were released. The festival was started 29 years ago to transform the city into a center of culture and art and to help remember the Bosnian war in the 1990s. Festival attendees have included the likes of Robert De Niro, Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt, Daniel Craig, Orlando Bloom, John Malkovich, Gerard Depardieu, Morgan Freeman and Turkish director Nuri Bilge Ceylan.
