Int`l webinar on Commemoration of "Avicenna & Doctors' Day" was held
Webinar titled "Commemoration Avicenna and Doctor's Day" was held on Thursday, 1st of Shahrivar (August), coinciding with Avicenna and Doctor's Day. The webinar was attended by a group of researchers and philosophers from member countries of the ECO.
According to the information provided by the ECO Cultural Institute, In this webinar, professors and researchers from Iran, Afghanistan, Turkiye, Pakistan, and Kyrgyzstan were present, and seven researchers delivered speeches. The participating professors and researchers included Mr. BouriBoev, the head of the ECO Cultural Institute, Dr. A'vani, a member of the Academy of Sciences of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Dr. Bagheri Lenkarani, the former Minister of Health and Medical Education of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Mr. Ali Reza Taher, a member of the faculty of Minhaj University Lahore, Pakistan, Mr. Taher Oluç, a member of the faculty of Erbakan University, Turkiye, Mr. Abutaleb Mozaffari, a poet and writer from Afghanistan, and Dr. Pourhassan, a member of the faculty of Allameh Tabataba'i University.
During this webinar, intellectuals, professors, and researchers discussed their perspectives on Avicenna's views.

Abu Ali Sina, also known as "Ibn Sina," was one of the great figures of his time and had a significant influence on science and philosophy.
Ibn Sina was born in the city of Afshane in 980 AD. He was highly skilled in the fields of medicine, philosophy, natural sciences, mathematics, and poetry. One of his notable works is "The Canon of Medicine" or "Al-Qanun fi al-Tibb," which is recognized as one of the most important medical books in history. This book was widely used in Europe and the Middle East and served as a primary source for medical education until the 17th century AD.
In addition to medicine, Ibn Sina was also very active in the field of philosophy. He delved into philosophical issues such as the existence of God, nature, and humanity, and wrote works such as "The Book of Healing" and "The Encyclopedia of Philosophy" in this regard. By combining science and philosophy, Ibn Sina sought to discover the truth and gain a better understanding of the world.
Ibn Sina excelled not only in science and philosophy but also in poet. He wrote beautiful and profound poems in the Persian language, through which he depicted emotions and human values.
