As part of the preparations for the celebration of the 300th anniversary of the classic of Turkmen and world literature of the 18th century Magtymguly Pyragy, the «Turkmenfilm» Association is launching a project to shoot documentaries about his spiritual heritage and influence on other cultures.
Preparations have already begun in the Astrakhan region for the celebration of the 300th anniversary of the birth of Magtymguly, within which various events are planned, including round tables, conferences, poetry evenings, teleconference, etc.
The business trip of the second group of cinematographers to the Republic of Azerbaijan is scheduled for late August - early September. Filming of documentary material will take place in various places associated with the name of Magtymguly Pyragy. According to the Oguzhan Association, it is planned to send film crews to shoot documentaries about the great Magtymguly to Uzbekistan, Iran and Turkey.
