Turkmen poet wins international literary competition in Turkey
A young poet from Turkmenistan, Ismail Muhammetdurdyev, won the international literary competition “Altyn Kalemler” (Golden Feathers), held annually in the Republic of Turkey.
The Turkmen poet’s poem “First of all the Motherland” was awarded the corresponding prize of the competition in the field of poetry, and the award ceremony for the winners and laureates of the creative competition was held in the ancient Turkish city of Bursa. In total, more than fifty authors from Turkey, Germany, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and other countries took part in the literary competition, presenting more than one hundred works.
Muhammetdurdyev is also the winner of the annual competition of the President of Turkmenistan “Golden Age of Turkmens” and a laureate of the scientific work competition among the youth of Turkmenistan.
