During the meeting of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov with the Deputy Director General of UNESCO Xin Qu, plans were made to hold a number of joint events on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan's accession to UNESCO in Paris, as well as the celebration of the 300th anniversary of of the birth of Magtymguly Pyragy.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, the parties noted the importance of the Memorandum of Cooperation signed in 2021 between the Government of Turkmenistan and UNESCO for 2021-2023, as well as the Framework Agreement between the Government of Turkmenistan and UNESCO of 2015 on the establishment of a trust fund, for the implementation of agreements.
