According to the information base of the ECO Cultural Institute, By the end of the term of the presidency of Mr. Murodjon Buriboev, and following the introduction by the government of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Dr. Saad S. Khan, a Pakistani diplomat, was appointed as the president of the ECO Cultural Institute.
The new president of the ECO Cultural Institute has a research background in the fields of International Relations, Islamic History and International Law, and has collaborated with institutions such as the United Nations, the Cambridge Review of International Affairs Journal, the prestigious National School of Public Policy in Pakistan, etc. Lectures at Cambridge, Dhaka, Cairo, Jamia Millia, Cornell, New York and other scientific and academic institutions, are his other records.
It should be noted that the president of the institute is appointed from among high-ranking cultural figures of the region, according to the proposal of the institute's Board of Trustees, periodically for a period of three years. The president of the institution is responsible for the implementation of general policies and decisions made by the institute's Board of Trustees.
