The music album “Tar & History” project by musician Midya Farajnejad has received two prizes at the Global Music Awards.
As an Iranian contemporary folk instrumentalist, Farajnejad received a Gold Medal. Naghmesazan recording studio and music production center also won a Gold Medal as the producer of the project.
“Tar & Tarikh” is a project that started about 2 years ago. In this project, hundreds of musical works have been produced for the historical monuments of Iran. Farajnejad has composed music based on its geography, architecture and general conditions. He uses various musicians and singers from all over Iran to perform each piece.
Established in 2011, the Global Music Awards is a well-known international music competition which celebrates independent musicians. This year, about 20,000 music artists from all over the world participated in the Global Music Awards
