The international film festival “Dawn of Arkadag” started at the State Drama Theater named after Aman Gulmammedov, which brought together filmmakers from Central Asia and other countries of the world, the “Vatan” information program reported.
Turkmen filmmakers, as well as their colleagues from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan, were the first to appear on the “red carpet” in front of the theater in the city of Arkadag.
Turkmenistan presents at the film festival the film Istärin, produced by the film studio of the Turkmenfilm association named after Oguzkhan. The historical film is dedicated to the era and work of the great poet Magtymguly Pyragy
