H. E. Dr. Saad Khan, President-designate ECO Cultural Institute, called on the Secretary General of the Economic Cooperation Organization H. E. Khusrav Nazari at his office. He briefed the Secretary General about ongoing and planned activities of the Institute and apprised him of the financial difficulties being faced. H.E. Dr. Khan conveyed his concerns about the dropping of time slots for the agencies at the COM’s.
On his part, the Secretary General ECO welcomed the newly elected President and wished him a successful tenure. The Secretary General agreed that a lot needs to be done to strengthen the bonds of common heritage in the ECO region. In this respect, he assured the President of his full support for the activities of the Institute and urged him to work for the growth of the membership of the Institute.
