10-year-old Kazakhstani Danis Kuandykuly claimed the World Cadets U10 Chess Championships title.
Danis scored a total of nine points in 11 rounds with no losses. The Kazakhstani managed to beat the renowned players from the US, China, and Russia.
Danis is the first young Kazakhstani chess player to win the world champion title in the U10 category.
