The application for the sociocultural tradition was jointly submitted by Türkiye, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan and Iran to the UN Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, on December 4, the 18th meeting of the Intergovernmental Committee for the Preservation of UNESCO's Intangible Cultural Heritage began in Kasane, Republic of Botswana. The meeting will continue until December 9, 2023, and representatives of member states of the Convention for the Preservation of Monuments of Intangible Cultural Heritage will be present.
