Iran hosting art exhibition with participation of 35 countries
An art exhibition, featuring artwork and cultural heritage from 35 countries, including Iran, is currently underway at the Niavaran Cultural-Historical Complex's Blue Hall in Tehran.
Entitled "Humanity. Solidarity. One Planet.", the exhibition was officially inaugurated by Stefan Priesner, the United Nations Resident Coordinator for Iran, on December 7.
"This exhibition holds a unique significance as it recalls the core principles of the United Nations enshrined in the UN Charter, a remarkable historical document," said Priesner.
Organized by the United Nations in Iran in collaboration with the Niavaran Cultural-Historical Complex, and the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Tourism, and Handicrafts, the exhibit also showcases some selected photographs of gifts to the United Nations' Headquarters in New York.
The art works of 35 countries including Kazakhstan, Pakistan, Kyrgyzstan, Iran and etc have been displayed in this exhibition.
