Afghan archaeologists discovered and recorded 17 ancient cisterns and sites in Badakhshan province
According to the Afghan Voice (AVA) news agency in Mazar-e-Sharif, Badakhshan is considered one of the ancient, historical provinces and rich in cultural and literary symbols of this country, that is why every now and then we see the discovery of untouched historical buildings and waterholes in the districts and faraway places. We are in Badakhshan province. Archaeologists are trying to investigate and publicize more details of this discovery.
It should be mentioned that Badakhshan is one of the big and mountainous provinces of Afghanistan, which has 28 districts and more than one million people. Also, this province borders Pakistan, China and Tajikistan.
