On the occasion of the sad demise of Emir of Kuwait, the ECI President sent the following message to the Ambassador of Kuwait to the Islamic Republic of Iran:
H.E. Mr. Bader A. Almunayekh Excellency, On the sad demise of the last Emir of Kuwait, His Highness Sheikh Nawaf Al Ahmad Al Sabah, I would like to express my sincere condolences to the esteemed government and the people of the State of Kuwait, and especially to Your Excellency and your team at the Embassy of Kuwait in Tehran. The late Emir was a great leader and a true statesman who dedicated his life to the service of his people and the promotion of peace and stability in the region. His legacy of wisdom, compassion, and commitment to progress will be missed by all who knew him. We recognize the deep sense of loss felt by the people of Kuwait and hope that the memories of his life and legacy will bring comfort to those who mourn his passing. Please accept, Excellency, our deep sympathies on my own behalf and all the ECI international staff.
