His Excellency Dr. Saad S. Khan, President of ECO Cultural Institute, and Dr. İbrahim Furkan ÖZDEMİR, Director of Yunus Emre Institute Tehran met on December 13, 2023 at the ECI’s Headquarters to discuss future collaborations, including joint cultural events, food festivals, and music concerts within the ECO region.
The meeting focused on future cooperation and activities to promote cultural exchange within the ECO region. The discussions included plans for a food festival showcasing the culinary delights of ECO countries, as well as joint music concerts and festivals. The collaboration aims to create opportunities for people of the ECO region to connect and appreciate each other's cultures. The Yunus Emre Institute Tehran, established in 2011, is a cultural center that promotes the Turkish language and culture in Iran as part of the Turkish government agency. The Republic of Türkiye is one of the founding member countries of ECO and ECI.
