ECI President Highlights Cultural Collaboration for Economic Growth at an Economic Conference in Yazd
An economic conference held in Yazd, Iran on March 6, 2024, brought together ambassadors from the Asian Cooperation Dialogue (ACD) and member countries of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) to discuss regional cooperation and economic potential. The head of the Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines, and Agriculture of Yazd used the platform to propose hosting the heads of the Chamber of Commerce of member countries in September 2024, aiming to enhance cooperation in various fields, including tourism.
During the meeting, ECI President, Dr. Saad S. Khan expressed gratitude for the warm hospitality of Yazd authorities and emphasized the significance of cultural cooperation in establishing a strong foundation for economic collaboration. Dr. Khan also highlighted the importance of tourism and the role that the ECI can play in the promotion of tourism in the region, particularly in Yazd.
