The National Center for Manuscripts and Rare Books hosts an exhibition of calligraphy showcasing over 50 samples of historical inscriptions written in Kufic script, copies of “Zobdat-ul-tarikh” of the 13th century about the lives of historical figures, and manuscripts of the 18th century
Zhandos Bekdildauly, Director of the National Center for Manuscripts and Rare Books, says that renowned calligraphers and restorers of Iran arrived in Kazakhstan for the exhibition.
Kazakh, Iranian experts are expected to exchange experience in the field of restoration and digitization of ancient manuscripts, cataloging, systematization, as well as on calligraphy of ancient manuscripts and rare books. Iranian experts are well experienced in the restoration of manuscripts and printed publications.
