Khatam al-Sho'ra, Nur ad-Din Abd ar-Rahman Jami is one of the famous thinkers and literary figures who has enriched the classical poetry of the East with his deep philosophy.
According to the ECO Cultural Institute, quoting Manuscript News site, this famous scientist, calligrapher, musician and writer of his time was born in 817 AH (1414 AD) in Khorasan scientific center. Jami's extraordinary talent from childhood was remarkable. Jami studied science with famous scientists of that time such as Maulana Mohammad Jajarmi, Taghizadeh Rumi and Ali Ghoshchi.
There are various opinions about the number of scientific works of Jami who was engaged in research and composition until the end of his life. Some researchers have mentioned its number as 35, 45, 47, 99 and some more than 100 works.
Jami's most famous works are Haft Awrang, Nafahat al-uns and Baharestan.
