To mark the preservation of Persian language and the commemoration of Ferdowsi a webinar was held with the presence of a group of Persian language learners and Persian language and literature enthusiasts of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
According to the ECO Cultural Institute, quoting the public relations of the Organization of Islamic Culture and Communication, Ghorban-Ali Pourmarjan, Iranian cultural Attaché in Baku, Massoud Hasani, from the Saadi Foundation and Ms. Alizadeh, professor at Baku University and lecturer in Persian courses delivered speeches on Persian language and Ferdowsi’s role on maintaining the status of Persian language.
At the end of the webinar, poems by Ferdowsi, Khayyam and Saadi were recited.
