Iran’s ambassador to Bishkek said: “Unfortunately, the outbreak of the Coronavirus and the need to comply with health protocols over the past year prevented me from meeting with members of the Kyrgyz media.”
According to the ECO Cultural Institute, Saeed Kharazi, Iranian Ambassador to Bishkek, met with members of the media for the first time after his mission.
While congratulating the New Year and wishing success and happiness to the people of Kyrgyzstan, he said: “Unfortunately, the spread of the Coronavirus and the need to comply with health protocols over the past year prevented me from meeting with the media. Due to the decrease in the number of patients in Kyrgyzstan in recent months, and considering the recent meetings I had with some media outlets, I decided to hold the first group meeting with the media in the first days of the New Year.”
“We hope that in 2021, after the presidential election in Kyrgyzstan and the formation of a new government, as well as the parliamentary elections and the eradication of the Coronavirus, the process of relations between the two countries will be more active and steps will be taken to strengthen them.”
