Tajikistan, a country with 98% Muslims has special rituals during Ramadan. People typically congregate for prayers in the mosques and gather around festive meals to warmly celebrate Ramadan.
According to the ECO Cultural Institute, quoting Hawzah News Agency, neighbourhood Iftar feasts is one of the most unique features of Ramadan in Tajikistan. The people either relatives, friends or strangers, rich or needy gather around the Iftar table in mosques and share the food they have prepared at home.
