Tajikistan Opens Medical Equipment Factory
President of Tajikistan and his children opened a medical equipment factory in Dushanbe.
According to the ECO Cultural Institute, Emomali Rahmon, along with Rustam Emomali, Speaker of the National Assembly and Mayor of Dushanbe, Ozoda Rahmon, Head of the Presidential Office, and Jamoluddin Abdullohzoda, Minister of Health of Tajikistan opened “Aria Medical”.
The factory was built by Fayzali Hojiyev, a private sector activist, and has an annual production capacity of 400,000 syringes, 138,000 medical protective clothing, 273,000 masks and disinfectant solutions.
The factory has been established on a land area of nearly one hectare and has provided employment for 200 people.
The equipment of this factory is said to have been imported and installed from Germany, Poland and Japan. It is expected that in the future, 150 million syringes, 100 million masks and disinfectant solutions will be produced annually with the development of this factory.
