An Iranian woman mountaineer, Rashin Jahanbazi, hoisted the flag of the ECO Cultural Institute on the roof of Central Asia as a symbol of friendship of the peoples of this historical region, after her historic ascent to the Korgenovskaya peak (7105 meters) and the Somoni peak (7495 meters) in Tajikistan.
According to the ECO Cultural Institute, in this historic ascent, which was carried out with the support of Sarvar Bakhti, president of this international organization, Rashin Jahanbazi, as the first Iranian woman mountaineer, conquered the highest peaks of Tajikistan and took the flag of the ECO Cultural Institute with her to the roof of Central Asia as a symbol of friendship of the peoples of this historical region.
It is worth mentioning that before the ascent, Rashin Jahanbazi, had met with Sarvar Bakhti, president of this international organization at the ECO Cultural Institute.
During the meeting, president of the ECO Cultural Institute expressed hope that her historic ascent would be a prelude to the joint climbing of women mountaineers from all ECO member countries in the near future.
