Bridging the Information Gap between ECO Peoples

Sarvar Bakhti, President of the ECO Cultural Institute, in "Iran-Tajikistan Cultural Diplomacy" radio program broadcast by Radio Farhang on Tuesday, September 7, 2021, expressed concern over the lack of awareness of ECO countries from each other. He emphasized that in this regard, all institutions should cooperate to widely introduce the peoples of the ECO region.
According to the ECO Cultural Institute, president of this international organization continued his remarks: "Although the peoples of the ECO region have common historical, cultural and religious roots, they do not know each other well enough and it is the media responsibility to bridge the information gap.
Sarvar Bakhti also referred to the activities of the ECO Cultural Institute from the past to the present; saying: "We at ECO Cultural Institute will spare no effort to introduce ECO peoples to each other and to the world".
In conclusion, the President of the ECO Cultural Institute thanked the organizers of the Iran-Tajikistan Cultural Diplomacy program on Radio Farhang, which was organized in cooperation with the ECO Cultural Institute, the Tajik Embassy in Tehran, and the Contemporary Abrar Institute.
Present in the ceremony were Marouf Abdul Rahmanov, Deputy Ambassador of Tajikistan in Tehran, Dr. Alireza Habibi, Director of Radio Farhang, Dr. Nader Karimian Sardashti, Researcher, Dr. Ghahraman Soleimani, and Shoh Mansour Shoh Mirzo, a Tajik author, who discussed the existing common cultural capacities between Iran and Tajikistan, the report adds.
During the program, Iranian and Tajik artists performed pieces of fusion music on Roudaki poems, the father of Tajik Persian poetry, and books published by the ECO Cultural Institute were unveiled.
