On Wednesday, September 15, 2021, the President of the ECO Cultural Institute, visited the IRIB World Service, including Iran Press News Agency and Sahar World Network.
According to the ECO Cultural Institute, Sarvar Bakhti, in a meeting with Abbas Mohammadnejad, CEO of Iran Press International News Agency, announced his readiness to expand cooperation between the ECO Cultural Institute and Iran Press News Agency as well as other IRIB World Service channels.
In the meeting, the President of ECO stressed the need to expand cultural cooperation between ECO members and added that the formation of the ECO Media Union ('ECOMU'), which Iran Press proposed, could be very effective in expanding cultural and media cooperation between ECO member countries.
Following the visit of President of the ECO Cultural Institute to the IRIB World Service, Sarvar Bakhti had a separate meeting with Davood Eskandari, Director of the Urdu Channel and Vice President of Sahar World Network. The President of the ECO Cultural Institute welcomed the joint cooperation and stressed: "Today, the ECO member countries need to reflect the news on friendship.
President of the ECO Cultural Institute also visited different parts of the Iran Press News Agency and answered Iran Press in an exclusive interview and called for all media from ECO countries to cooperate with ECO Cultural Institute to spread friendship among the peoples of the ECO region.
