Fariba Ahmadi Wins first place in Bamyan Ski Competition
The women’s skiing competition, which was held in the foothills of the Baba Mountains in central Bamyan, was won by Fariba Ahmadi of the Bamyan Ski Club.

According to the ECO Cultural Institute, quoting Bakhtar News Agency, Mohammad Afzal Nouri, the head of Bamyan Ski Sports, told the media that 17 girls from six ski clubs participated in the competition: Fariba Ahmadi from Bamyan Ski Stadium, Zahra Nouri from Baba Everest Ski Stadium, and Sahar Nouri from the Eagle Club were ranked first to third, respectively.
Ishaq Movahedi, Director of Information and Culture of Bamyan, said that the purpose of holding this ski competition was to celebrate the International Day of Education, promote winter sports, attract domestic and foreign tourists, and introduce the beautiful natural landscapes of Bamyan.
Prizes were also awarded to the winners of this competition.
