Tajikistan and WHO Underscore Closer Relations
Tajikistan’s Deputy Foreign Minister and the new head of the World Health Organization’s office in Tajikistan have stressed the need to expand bilateral relations.
According to the ECO Cultural Institute, quoting Fars News Agency, Tajik Deputy Foreign Minister Muzaffar Hussainzoda and new head of the World Health Organization Viktor Alsafsky meet in Dushanbe to discuss ways to co-operate in the field of health. They discussed and exchanged views on combating and controlling the spread of the Coronavirus.
“So far, 13,308 people in the country have been infected with the Coronavirus, and 90 people have died”, the Tajik Ministry of Health said in a report.
