Iran’s Ambassador to Tajikistan described “Nowruz” as promising global understanding and strengthening national solidarity.
According to the ECO Cultural Institute, Mohammad Taghi Saberi, the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Tajikistan referred to the significant role of Nowruz in providing unity among different ethnic groups and nations and said: "Nowruz celebration is the annual joy which heralds global understanding and cultural ties between neighboring or distant nations. Numerous evidences can be found to prove the idea that the need for strengthening cultural relations among different people and ethnic groups has roots in Nowruz celebration."
