Rıza Kayaalp won the European title for the 10th time after beating Georgia’s Iakobi Kajaia 3-1 in the Greco-Roman 130 kg final on Saturday.
According to the ECO Cultural Institute, quoting Anadolu News Agency, Kayaalp, 31, beat Kajaia in Warsaw, Poland to bag the gold medal. Riza Kayaalp, the 130 kg Turkish wrestler, won the European Championship for the tenth time by defeating Iakobi Kajaia from Georgia.
On the sixth day of the tournament, which will be held in Poland, he defeated his opponent by a score of three to one and won the tenth European championship.
Kayaalp, Turkey’s most prestigious wrestler, also beat his German opponent 5-0 in the semifinals.
