The meeting of the National Coordinating Council of the SCO member states was held in the capital of Tajikistan under the chairmanship of Tajikistan.
According to the ECO Cultural Institute, quoting Fars News Agency in Dushanbe, a meeting of the National Coordinators Council of the SCO Member States was hosted and chaired by Tajikistan in Dushanbe.
The agenda of the summit included more than 70 issues related to the current activities of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.
The meeting adopted the Joint Statement of Foreign Ministers of SCO Member States on the Results of the Meeting in the Format of the SCO-Afghanistan Contact Group (July 14 in Dushanbe).
The National Coordinating Council is responsible for the overall coordination of the SCO activities.
Tajik presidency under the motto "20 years of SCO cooperation for stability and prosperity" has aimed at the strengthening of friendship and good neighborliness between the member states, preserving peace and stability, and development of trade-economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation.
