A Memorandum of Understanding between the ECO Cultural Institute and the Efficient Solutions of IT Co., (Bookbal) was signed on September 26, 2021.
According to the ECO Cultural Institute, at the meeting, Sarvar Bakhti, president of the ECO Cultural Institute, stressed the importance of increasing cooperation in the field of books and book reading at various levels and expressed hope that both sides would set up efforts to develop synergy in creating a book exchange network and identifying and documenting writers` views and works.
Arash Nourqorbani, CEO of the Bookbal, while introducing the Bookbal activities in three areas: books, research and media, stated: "with the cooperation of ECO Cultural Institute in the areas related to authors' bibliography, introducing scholars and research projects, the leading authors and publishers would be well introduced to the people in the region".
Under the MoU, the two sides agreed to cooperate extensively in the areas of publications, creating a database of writers and intellectuals from ECO countries and documenting the views, memoirs and works of prominent scholars.
