On Thursday, July 15, 2021, Sarvar Bakhti, president of the ECO Cultural Institute, met with Fereshteh Hosseini, a famous Afghan actress of Iranian cinema, at the location of this international organization.
According to the ECO Cultural Institute, Sarvar Bakhti, while expressing his satisfaction to meet Fereshteh Hosseini, said: "The ECO Cultural Institute is the home of all artists from the member countries."
Referring to the ECI media slogan, "We are not unaware of each other", he added: "We need the help of all artists from ECO member countries to realize this slogan and contribute to spread awareness in the region."
Bakhti alluded to the history of cinema in ECO member countries, saying "through holding festivals, film screenings, joint productions and increasing the interactions of cinematographers of ECO member countries, the ground should be provided for crossing geographical borders and achieving maximum artistic participation among the peoples of shared identity".
Fereshteh Hosseini, expressed appreciation to Mr. Sarvar Bakhti and said: "It is very encouraging for me to meet the president of the ECO Cultural Institute and to become familiar with the aims of the Institute."
She also announced her full preparedness to cooperate with the ECO Cultural Institute and added: "I hope we can introduce the true image of Afghanistan's culture and history through joint activities."
